I'm having problems with my car as when it's in a stopping or reversing position, it shakes and it dies. At first, i thought it was my alternator & my battery. I put a rebuilt alternator and a new battery. But still, shakes and dies. Then I thought it may be the fuel injector or the fuel pump as the oil & battery light up.
What do you think it may be? How much would be to fix the fuel injector?

i had my distributor replaced last year, but has having a huge stereo system have anything to do with my car dying? do i have to put performance parts in order to use my stereo.
So far I only put a rebuilt high output alternator & a blue optima battery. I'm running 800 watts now.

i believe there is no way to check the filter, you just have to replace it. its pretty cheap to replace, like $20 at most, idk i never replaced my fuel filter yet.

I just put a fuel injector cleaner in my tank but my car still dies. One difference is that it does when it is cold, when I'm stopping or when I'm reversing. Not of overloading. I guess the optima battery is really good
. One thing: are the rebuilt alternators reliable? I'm doubting the one I just got.
Maybe you are right I've never replaced any fuel filters or any other filters (only the air filter sometimes). Is it easy to check the filters? what other filters are there?
By the way, how do I check my fuel press?
